these few weeks have been a time for concern...
so many people worried about the SARS... the war in Iraq...
i just wanna take this time to express my personal feelings and things that i am deeply concerned about...

all these incidents happening around the world, i'm sure many of u wonder, why.... why... why...
some may be thinking, as long as i take care of myself, it will be fine...
others may be realising how blessed they've actually been... by comparing their lives with the less fortunate..

this is a time when the world comes to a realisation, and point to stop and reflect, to think about life... the frailty of life...
or simply, how easy life can just come and go...
yes, its like that, the human life is fragile.. it has always been... sometimes we don't realise it...
sometimes we dont think about it... other times we just dont bother.

life is so uncertain. everything that we possess, everything that we hope to gain in life- the degrees, diplomas, the 5 room condominiums, the 5 figure income... big things... to the smaller things like the dress you've been eyeing for the past month, the new fender guitar you've been saving up for... or maybe u just want to grow up, get a job, get married and settle down... sounds safe, you're not doing anything wrong.... so it should all go smooth...

imagine all this gone in an instant. with a snap of a finger...
im not trying to be a pessimist, nor am i cursing anyone here...
but this is real. the real world. try asking yourself this question seriously for once, and think hard about it...

"What are we living for?"

nothing in this world that we live for is stable. nothing in this earth is for certain..not our money, not our studies, not our degrees, not our health...not even our boyfriend or galfriends... :P
if human love is something we can hold on to 100%, there will not be break ups, there will not be disloyalty, there will not be disappointment and sadness...
this brings me to 1 realisation... humans are flawed. period. we all know this, but sometimes we live as if it doesnt matter.. we continue to enjoy our saturday nights out in the discos and pubs, we continue to gossip behind our own friends' back, and then lie about how much we love them...

we need to hold on to something more firm than this... we need to depend on someone more trustworthy than ourselves...
we need to prepare ourselves beyond what we see in front of us everyday...

in every single human being, within each of our souls lie an empty space...
this space is a hole in our hearts... it shouldnt be there, but it is.
it causes us to feel hurt, loneliness, and aimlessness.. this empty space is there whether u admit it or not...

this is the spiritual gap between u and the being who created you.
this is the hole that we want to fill so much.... so much so that we go great lengths in search for a stone to fill it... we go partying in search for friends, for love, to fill the loneliness...we do dance, we listen to music, we think we need the rhythm to get us going... we try aromatherapy, to relief the stress... we play games to amuse ourselves...
we try to be good people, by donating money to the needy regularly...we don't do drugs, we don'd drink, we don't smoke.... we try to be good people maybe...

we try so hard to rectify the flaws we know we naturally have...

at this point, if u think i'm trying to preach to you, let me just say "i am not."
i just think that since i have a blog, i might as well make better use of it, instead of just rambling away about my sleepless nights, or my daily happenings...
and tonight i want to share what i strongly feel about us as human beings...

yes you guys know i am a Christian and i seem to be always talking about my God, Jesus Christ... yes i do that because i have found God and He is real to me and to many people... and i still choose to put my life in Him because He never fails... the world may crumble but Jesus is the same... He loves me, He sees to my needs, He died for me and cleansed me of my sins... He forgives me of my flaws... and of course, i believe He made me... thats why i need His forgiveness..
this is the faith i have found to believe in Jesus.
also, i know my life on earth is not the only one... :) i am an alien and i belong somewhere else...

my urge to whoever reading this is:

go search for the rock to fill that empty space in your heart, your soul... go seek something that isnt as uncertain and fragile as humanity...
look for something more meaningful, that doesn't fade away once if u are faced with a breakup, the danger of war, or SARS...
think about your own life...find that never changing love, or forever strong wall to depend on...

if u need help, i recommend Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.. He grants me everlasting life, unconditional love, and eternal forgiveness....
you only need to believe in Him and accept Him as the One who made you and the One who died for you, and the One who loves u 100% non stop...

if u don't want to take in what i say, it's entirely your privelege... i won't be unhappy, i won't see u less as a friend nor hate you...

don't blame me for saying so much, don't hate me for reminding you about life... it's my blog, and u chose to read it :P

people used to tell me i am the greate sleeper, i can fall asleep anywhere, but this time i cant seem to!!! weird....

finally finished shooting all 3 mtvs! it was a fun, embarrassing, unforgettable experience...
1st time acting, and dancing in front of the camera.... it's something i'll treasure :)
i have to thank my female lead, An Qi... she's a very very good actress... hehehe can cry within 60 secs...
having acted in more than 100 commercials before... what can i say? compared to a new bird like me? hahaha...!
can't wait to see the product... but before that, its time for some rest.... :)

ANOTHER DREAM!!!!¡@oh man... can't believe it... i wasnt even thinking about it............... silly me...

anyway, i went to meet my dancers yesterday, and they are a bunch of wacky, fun and warm people :) unlike the previous dance school i attended...
only about 1 week to grasp whatever i need to apply in my mv... not enough time, but i will do my best :)
my dance teacher knows jay chou quite well and he says he will introduce us soon! dance together, play bball together.... etc hahahaah my ou xiang!

here i am again... after a loong while since i last blogged properly heh..

have been busy with recording every single day of my stay here... done 9 songs in total... 2 more to go... but many more backing vocals to go!! about 6?
it's so tiring singing backing vocals! much harder than singing the leads! :P

and i am supposed to produce the songs too :( there goes my chinese new year holidays.... gotta get back to studio on monday.... ALONE!!!! the rest are still enjoying!!
heh anyone care to join me? :PPP bring me lunch, tea, and dinner... maybe even supper!! :) hahaha

i've got so little time left here!!! i gotta treasure every moment, and every person i can meet up with...won't be able to see them for sooo long!!!

i am HOME! finally..! well, 3 months in taiwan has been an experience... got to know new church friends and got used to the environment...
this time i'm back to record my album :) i must really treasure this time.... though its short.... the next time i come back to singapore, i wont be able
to play like how i always do anymore :( ... well, its part of work... so what to do?
anyway i'm really glad to see all my friends back here again.... they look so happy! must really share the passion we have during this stay man :)

well guess what?? i went for the class... and i ended up being the ONLY guy there.... :O even the instructor was female....
being the ever stubborn wayne, i decided to stay for the class!! :P halfway through 5 more gals came in to join the class....
yes.. if u have not already guessed. g'hiphop stands for GIRL hip hop...... DOH!!!!

i went for a-do's mtv shoot today! i got to know my manager's sister... she happens to be s.h.e 's publicity manager!! hehe found out some stuff about s.h.e.... wahahaha
their age... hobbies.. etc she's gonna gimme their autographed cd, posters, pictures.... etc... wahahahahaha (sound like a crazy fan eh)...
hebe is 19 years old!!! :PPP selina just turned 21...! hahaha

anyway another exciting news... for my album, we will work closely with computer graphics animation artistes cum game maker!!! WWOOOOOooooHOO my favourite!!!
hahaha that guy is currently developing a computer game to be released in korea!! HAHA eric... excited?? ... yup thats about it!!

latest news, after six long hours of meeting and discussion.. my album songs has been shortlisted from about 34 songs to 11... direction is more or less confirmed...
i shouldnt reveal too much...
but i need help, i need resources... hehe
what i need is multimedia stuff of futuristic stuff... movies, photos, sound effects, songs... etc of futuristic things... things to do with technology... think guys would be more familiar at it... things like star craft... kof2002.... final fantasy...

wonderful day! went to visit the church i found... it was great! the people there are so very friendly and warm.. not a very big place, but all passionate worshippers!
they believe in praying in one voice, what we usually call korean style prayer heh.. and they are not reserved about liftting up hands to worship, about worshipping in the Spirit.. so i'm glad God opened up this opportunity...

anyway the guy who came up to talk to me told me... the people there are just starting to form a band in the church... they just recently changed their style of worship to a more contemporary one... and introduced the drums! familiar eh... thats y he was surprised when i told him i was in the music ministry and played the keyboard...etc.. maybe this is an appointment God has planned for me and the church... hmmm continue to pray for me! :)

after the service, we had lunch in the church!! good food man...hahaha anyway the young people there arent really young haha... they are all young adults (working adults)
so i was the youngest young adult there... heh... they dont really have youths (13-19yrs old) there.. but its great to know these young and passionate people too :) i will check out their music practice on friday nights :)

anyway i decided to stop by the office after church so here i am now.. typing away... relaxing on a sunday :)heh... take care people...

Heh heh heh... i am currently in one of the many many internet cafes in taipei city... i just played a game of cs ...wahahahaaha its easier than in singapore.. the players are not that pro :) a-do's beside me now... playing CS while im typing my blog... wahaha didnt know he likes to play cs too!! :P its so cheap here... 3 hrs for 100 NT ($4+)
about 1+ buck for an hour... yupyup

anyway, its been pretty ok here, recoverin from my flu, and applying my moisturiser hahahaha... very dry climate...gotta wear more layers...
life's pretty independent for me here... i am free to go where i want anytime... most of the time alone... but thats ok :) the people here are v spontaneous, it wont be hard to make new friends here... but of course i am already missing my friends in singapore! people like eric should be here...tsss tsst........ its very chilled out (for now at least)

im gonna have to find a church soon :) wont be a problem once i get aquainted with the people here... pray for me friends, that it will be a passionate bunch of people for Christ.. ahave been reading the bible and doing my QT too :) just started on a book called the prayer of Jabez... highly recommended by Si'er.. i think its a good book too.. simple and powerful... go read it people! :)

im gonna have to wake up v v early on monday morn... about 4+ am... followin a-do to take pictures for his new album cover! dunno why must go so early... sigh hehehe...

so weird... i thank God for all my FRIENDS... my FAMILY... brothers and sisters.....thank you for being there for me and the love that u shared.. :)))

let not anything take this away from my heart... this attribute and desire to see people around me joyful and in Christ ...

whatever obstacles that come my way, i will do it in the Lord's strength and not my own... and i will walk everyday by faith... in love and passion for God and His people...

to those at home.. i pray that u will too, be sensitive to people around u... love and cherish those whom u know.. regardless of their background, their AGENDA
forget these things.. and start to see everyone as equal in God's eyes..
whether u are Christian or not, i urge u to put your hope in God.. to me... He is/has been/ will always be the ONE and ONLY God and provider and King in my life...
if u dont believe me, u can try to pray to God (call upon Jesus) tell Him what u feel, and ask of Him to come into your life to heal your hurts... to fill THAT EMPTY SPACE that u feel....
that loneliness.... that space which makes u feel that nobody cares... that part of u which makes u feel useless sometimes...
that thought that always comes which makes u wonder "why doesnt anything make me feel REAL happiness? how come no matter how many friends i have, no matter wat i possess... i still dont feel satisfied? "

the Lord says , " Seek and you will find, ask and u will be answered, knock and the door will be opened for you"
These words are not lies... it is the truth from my very own experience.... trust me people... i am not joking nor am i a raving lunatic...
these words are for you my friends... those who not yet know Christ as their God, and for those who have lost touch with Jesus.. pick yourself up today.. i hope that what i say will encourage u in one way or another..

dont think that i am holy moly.... or too crazy a Christian... or that i dont think about other things...
i know what i am saying... and this is something i want to share not just because the bible tells me to... but more because i have experienced it for myself.... and i want to share the joy i have... the satisfaction... the love of the Lord Jesus Christ...

my bags are FULL to the max.. no space... too heavy too... my main lugguage is 30+ kg i estimate... way past the official max weight of 20...wat to do?
even my hand carry is almost exploding... coz i have so many things to carry... my laptop too! WAHAHAHA good thing my boss brought my guitar there 1st liao..

havnt been writing in my blog... sigh well i never knew being a producer can actually become such a drag... :P i've been working on 1 song for almost a month now...never ending job... i think i need lotsa getting used to... sometimes i just wish someone can just do it for me... heh... so so tedious... what i do doesnt seem to be satisfatory enough... hmm... what to do..?guess i'll have to keep going till i cant stay anymore... haha no rest for me lo.... why can't i just be simply a singer.. just sing and go? it's much simpler that way... :P

I bought a new digi cam!! woohoo... alot of money involved too ... *heart pain
haha ... the computer guy refused to refund me so i had to change it for an external CDRW drive... iomega predator
not bad also...
my new digi cam's a panasonic lumix ..the one ayumi hamasaki is promoting hehe... got the black one after much consideration.. i like the silver one too, but black's more special i guess... the only setback ... no audio!!! cannot record audio!! :(( sobsob.. never mind .. i shall be contented! :) must thank anne and eric for coming with me to get the cam... thanx fer your valuable advice :) praise God for ppl like you! :)

bought a digital- webcam today .. supposed to be very good one!! it can take 2.1 megapixels of pictures..
and its a web cam as well... got it for almost $300!!! very happy at first... even called anne to HAO LIAN...
but then... after i tried it and when the picture showed up on my com... i was like .. huh?! hmmm
nvr mind... lets try the webcam.. sure superb one...
!!!!! instead, wat i saw was a BLACK screen!!! my room was fully lit man... its worse than my cheap 60 bucks webcam!!!
wat kind of deal is that?!?! dont care.. im going to refund !!! REFUND REFUND REFUND!!!!!!!!

phew... another day!!! today was cool coz we left work earlier, to meet pastor stephen, davic, and zongfa to look at drums!!! gonna buy the tama rockstar for our church!! cool... hope to get a chance to play it before i leave for taiwan... sobsob.. its been confirmed..

Today was a coolz day... :) went to church and guess wat, anne joined us for youth fellowship! praise God! :) we had a powerful time of prayer and praise...
we prayed for each other, the youths, and Singapore... the Lord's presence was so strong in our midst...
after that anne, eric, qiufeng and i went to bugis...

i must say i found a new game to challenge!!! wahahaa thanx anne for introducing us to the game... i call it the ball catching game! haha caused my right arm
to become red and sore! haha but nvm.. just a little bit.. it was fun ! im going to go back till i make sure we get 30 points...
haha..!

wah.. v tired liao.. tats all i can say tonight... :) tom work again! haha somehow im lookin forward to it... dunno why... wierd eh.. :)

woooo hoooo wat a day today was!!! i woke at 7am!!! went to church to move things!!! like contruction worker!! train my muscles man... haha
then eric, si'er, david and i went for City Harvest Church service at 4:30pm... it was FABULOUS... really was able to worship freely and give God my best praise!!! :)
the pastor was passionate! the youth were soooo on fire too!!! 2000 ppl in the auditorium!! all praising the Lord!!! (pssst... i noticed some pretty gals too :PPPshhhh.. )
anyway we went to si'er's church service too!! haha by that time i was tired out... droopy eyes... and ............. (u know wat)
i really thank my 3 brothers for the day spent today.... i caught a new passion for God!!!
trusly without Him, life wouldnt have been so meaningful for me... this is my utmost honest sharing :)

Wow... another day has past! :) today didnt go to work... was writing a new song at home...as well as preparing for the night's radio program! :)
93.3fm live with weibing! :) it was a good experience... especially when my buddy si'er was there with me! :)
it's fun to share our thoughts and music through the radio... hopefully more people will catch the passion for music and write for their passion! :)

It's a new day!!! praise the Lord...indeed i have to thank God coz i have been having some friction with a good friend recently... somehow, we didnt address the problem directly and immediately... misunderstandings worsened the situation... and it became almost a silent war... for me at least. yesterday, i had the opportunity to meet up with him... we had a time of sharing, about our misunderstanding... cleared things up.. i thank God becoz without Him, i wouldnt have the kind of humility and the listening ear to sit and listen to someone bombard so much unhappiness upon me... worse still i realised there has been lack of trust, causing misconceptions..and i hate to be accused of things i hadnt done.. well things turned out well, and it's a big relief... it's not over, but at least now there's a space to be able to trust him more...

my prayer...
i want to pray too for a friend, Anne... she's been having lots of problems coz her grandma has fallen very ill.. there are some complications that i probably dont even know.. but i pray God that You will heal Anne's granma.. by faith i pray that you will remove her pain and help her to recover... i also want to lift Anne into Your hands... because i know that You are able to comfort her and lift her burderns... pray that Lord You show Anne that this emptiness can be filled by You Lord, grant her the peace and joy of the Lord... help her to even try praying even if she's not a Christian... because i know that You are always there for her... so i thank You Father... in Jesus' most powerful and precious Name i pray.... work work... today was a hectic day for me... had to prepare many things, get ready for a-do's recording tomorrow...last minute things cropped up as well.. i have to re master one of the tracks in kit chan's album...had to multi multi task... phone calls anytime.... well its just the nature of my job in this industry... got to be very alert and flexible. u can be thinking about this, when another totally unrelated but as important errand comes... just have to plan wisely and tell myself to take things one at a time :) well, im not complaining though... 'coz its a challenge!! praise God for the strength He gave me to last the day... :)
i was rewarded with a short but yet chilled out and good time with eric and michelle after work :) yeah!

woah... just came back from Genting Highlands! exciting trip coz me and Si'er escaped! hahaa...coz we didnt want to miss our church service later.. so well.. a little bit of adventure's cool once in a while... i like adventure... :) we took a cab all the way from genting hotel.... down the highlands, to johor bahru! hahaha can u believe it... after that we took another cab from the customs back home....
well.. another surprise... i came back just in time to see a dead body lying under my block..
in fact, my cab came with the police back home...this guy jumped from my block.. probably broke his leg and died... no blood... everything still intact... strange! :P
nevermind... i gotta go church already!!! :)
